My Norwex Optic Cloth Review (eyeglasses, computer screens, cell phones, tablets......)

Maybe it’s just me, but this is one item I originally overlooked because its name made me think that it was just for glasses.  Well, it’s certainly not, and this tiny little cloth has been proven to be VERY useful.  Turns out, you can safely use it to clean TV and computer screens, tablet and cell phones, sunglasses, CDs, DVDs, and more.  See you later, fingerprints and smudges!

What makes it special?  The microfiber in this cloth is very tightly woven, not allowing it to pick up dust and other tiny particles that can scratch your screens/lenses/etc.  Bonus points for being lint free.

And here is something you may have not thought of.  Your cell phone is really, really germy.  If you think about it, you touch it a lot, many times a day. Then you put it against your face.   Who makes sure their hands are clean every time you pick up your phone?  Nobody.  So now there is a safe way to wipe them down, and clean your screen.
You can see the Optic Cloth here.

Finally remembered to do my Window Cloth reviews. 5 plus stars on this one!

I don’t think I, or anyone else who has ever owned one, could possibly say enough good about the Norwex Window Cloth (can be used on any glass-not just windows).

No streaks.  No wasting paper towels.  And it makes them shine.  I mean REALLY shine.

If you attend almost any Norwex Party, you will see the infamous “butter demonstration”.  The consultant writes on the window with a stick of butter, then tries to clean it with Windex, which just smears the butter.  Then, she wipes it all off (EASILY) with a wet Envirocloth, and then polishes it to shiny perfection.  Streak free perfection.   It’s pretty amazing.  You can’t screw it up.

It even works without the Envirocloth.  Not as QUITE as well, but it does.  I found this out because I cleaned my windows wrong when I was getting ready to host a family Christmas dinner last December.  It wasn’t super cold that day and I decided to clean my outside windows.  Well, I forgot to use the Envirocloth first.  Went out there with just my Window Cloth and a spray bottle of water.  Not using the Envirocloth first (and, that probably wasn’t a good thing, since they outside windows hadn’t been cleaned in over a year).  I was kind of disappointed because I got a streak here and there.  (Now I realize what I did wrong).   But even so, I still ended up with noticeably clean windows.  Did them again last week-absolute perfection.

You can also use the Telescopic Pole from the floor systems, along with the brackets, to use your window cloth  on taller or second story windows.

THIS is one product that I feel is a must have for anyone who cares about clean glass.  So quick, so easy, and it works!

You can see it here.

The Norwex Magnetic Envirocloth. Great if you have a purpose for it.

Norwex makes a version of the Envirocloth called the Magnetic Envirocloth, which is pretty self-explanatory:  it has a magnet on the  corner of it so you can keep it hanging on the fridge, thus hopefully always remaining in its spot.
And, it is bigger than the standard Envirocloth.  While it is about 3” less wide, it is roughly 6” longer.
IF you have a purpose for it, it’s pretty great.  To be honest, the magnet can be just a little annoying, as it likes to grab onto my stainless-look appliances and my cabinet hardware when I use it for wiping down my kitchen.
With that said, I found a purpose for mine.  I now leave it hanging on the side of my fridge, and each time I fill my dogs’ water bowl, I use it to wipe out the bowl.  Since Envirocloths pick up all the bacteria and other gunk, I know their dish is always clean.  I used to use paper towels for this task, so I am no longer wasting them several times a day.

So, if you have a particular spot or use for it, it’s great.  Otherwise, the magnet part may not be a necessity for you.   You can find this item here.
